Match Play. 2-2 to 7. Should Red double? If doubled, should White take?

For money this is a narrow pass and most formulae get this right. At the match score it is a comfortable take because of the power of White’s redoubles to 4 which get him to the Crawford Game.

Never ignore the strength of getting to Crawford.

Double, of course, and I think White can take. Red is likely to have some wastage.

Double and marginal take.

I don't think it can be a big error either way, but I would pass. In my experience, the extra pip carries a heavier weight than one might expect.
