Money Play. Should Red redouble? If redoubled, should White take?

Red has only four fewer checkers off than White, but this is a powerful redouble because of White’s gap on his 2-pt.

White only has a take because of his potential to redouble to 8 later on. He wins only 23% of the time but enough of those wins happen with the cube on 8 to make this a borderline take.

RD/T. In the prebot era five less off was the borderline. Later findings indicate it's still a take.

Clear redouble and I'm not sure about the take. It's a very ugly gap on white's 2 pt, and if there were any of the checkers currently on the 3pt on the 2pt, I wouldn't hesitate in taking. Given the current situation, I think it's a narrow pass.
